UPDATE - Top 200 Hitting Prospects for the Hobby
Prospect rankings specially formulated for the hobby with autograph prices and trends
Here are the updated Hobby Rankings as of yesterday morning for the top 200 hitting prospects. Their base autograph price and 14-day trends were updated this morning and we have some BIG movers on the list. At the end of each group of 25 I’m going to give a couple of names that are worth keeping an eye on or possibly even buying if you feel inclined. ‘Buy the Dip?’ is going to feature prospects whose prices are down 10% or more BUT their Hobby Ranking has either stayed the same or gone up. I will not include any prospects who have debuted or are injured as that may have affected their prices, this is simply players who are playing well but dropping in price which often creates an ideal buying window. I’ll also throw in a couple of ‘Value Plays’ in each grouping as well which will be players that appear to be too cheap for their ranking. It would be easy to find cheap prospects that are older but for this I’m specifically looking for players who still have plenty of time to move multiple levels before their hype reaches its peak. If the Hobby Rankings are doing their job then a prospect who is substantially cheaper than others ranked around him should have a good chance of going up in the future.
